Vi har ett problem med REACH i Kaltura. Filerna hamnar i "Pending", sen
händer inget mer. Felet anmäldes när första rapporten kom tidigare idag och
Amberscript felsöker.
Vi har även lagt ut på status.sunet.se
Förhoppningsvis är problemet löst inom kort.

Här kommer en lösning för att ändra länkarna i Canvas. Följ gärna tråden i
Sunet Forum: https://forum.sunet.se/content/perma?id=20754
Uppdatering angående Cloudfront-länkarna (inbäddade videos i Canvas från
Kaltura som kommer sluta funka efter årsskiftet).
Det berör videos som bäddats in i Canvas från Kaltura under perioden 20
Mars 2020 - 6 Februari 2022.
Den hjälp vi får från Instructure för att lösa detta är nedanstående guide.
Det betyder att varje lärosäte som har inbäddade videos från Kaltura i
Canvas behöver hantera dessa, antingen genom att ändra länkar manuellt i de
kurser som berörs. Eller genom att följa nedanstående instruktion och ändra
samtliga länkar i ett svep. OBS! För det senare behöver man ha en hel del
teknisk kompetens, dvs vara van att arbeta med programmeringsspråk som
Python eller Javascript, van att arbeta med REST API:er och van att skriva
felhantering så att man inte uppdaterar resurserna fel.
Pontus på Sunet testar just nu att följa guiden och göra ändringar i Sunets
Canvasinstans. Vi hoppas att det kommer att funka utan problem. Om fler
testar den vägen så dela gärna med er.

Recommended Plan:
1. Download and unpack the Canvas Data dump (see CLI Tool tutorial)
2. Do a recursive grep (search) over all unpacked files with the old
domain name for Kaltura. This will tell you which records of which types
need to be updated via the REST API.
3. Refer to the REST API docs for each type of content that needs to be
updated. Make sure you have enough information from the matched lines from
the grep to form the URL for the API resource.
- One case where you will need more information is wiki pages. The
URL needs either the course or group id which is not included in the
wiki_page_dim file. You will need to get that from the
wiki_page_fact table
by matching the ids. Most other types should not need this.
4. Make a GET request to the API for each record that needs to be
updated to get the latest content in case it changed since the time the
data dump was generated.
5. Perform the necessary search and replace for the Kaltura URLs.
6. Make a POST request to the API to update the resource with the new
content.

Förra veckan gick ett utskick ut gällande Cloudfront-länkar. Nu kom detta:
Hi,
As mentioned this morning, the upgrade inadvertently fixed the CloudFront
links I needed the local admins to fix. So the actions in previous mails
are no longer needed.
Sorry for the confusion.
However, there might still be embedded links in LMS pages. So please remind
institutions to check their LMS (and other pages) for embed links linking
to CloudFront.
The domains they need to search and replace for are:
d38ynedpfya4s8.cloudfront.net change to vod-cache.kaltura.nordu.netdchsou11xk84p.cloudfront.net change to api.kaltura.nordu.net
Any other CloudFront links are not related to us and should not be changed.
I will try to dig in log files, to see if I can find pages linking to CF.

I och med uppgraderingen i helgen så kom också en ny version av Kaltura
Capture. Den gäller dock bara för Windows. Se mejl nedan från NORDUnet
So Windows users can upgrade to 4.3.18, while Mac users will stay on 4.3.1.
Download links on KMS were incorrectly updated to 4.3.18 for both, they
have now been corrected.
Please let me know if there are any issues with this new version.
