I suppose that the 'permanent' choice in the 'contract duration' refers to the general contract relation with the organization, not for the current project, since for this project contracts can be up to 3 years. For instance, I chose that option for Chronis who is a permanent professor in NKUA but not for me, who have a temporary contract.
