WP7 School intervention evaluation documents and ethical approval.

Dear all Following on from the WP7 meeting last week, I have developed a series of data collection instruments and protocols for the school interventions, which are stored in a folder <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YzuyDATghL1RnkyQxPchAWeU6WTVu1QP?us…>in WP7. This includes all the information you should need to apply for ethical approval, such as sample informed consent/assent documents, overarching evaluation protocol (data preparation and analysis to come), surveys, interviews, teacher reflective diary and documents detailing the protocol for each form of data collection. All partners involved in interventions this year should review the documents, add comments and make suggested edits *by 6th March. *I am also happy to receive any direct email queries. Please complete this Doodle <https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/dLZkGMra>by *1st March *to arrange a review meeting to further discuss data collection. Please ensure at least one member of your team, involved in the interventions, professional development or co-design workshops completes the Doodle. Unfortunately due to other responsibilities I am unable to arrange a meeting prior to the 7th March and the 10th is the OMT. Any partner waiting to apply for ethical review can use all of the documents in their current state as amendments will only be minor - aka no new data collection instruments and no new lines of questioning. Out of action

Hi all It looks like I'm going to be out of action the rest of this week as both my son and husband have a vomiting bug. To Thea, Sophia and Katrien - I have been following up on your suggestions regarding 21st C skills. If you (or anyone on this list) has some example mappings of DT and 21stC skills, then I would appreciate the links. We are trying to avoid reinventing the wheel when it comes to the instruments but so far we are struggling to identify already validated instruments which are sufficiently broad AND concise. fyi: M18 review and dates for next 6 monthly physical rmeeting

Dear All Fyi: * Marcelo and I had a meeting with Angel, our PO, last Friday to discuss the M18 review. * For our project there will be two expert reviewers who will be able to travel and be there physically. * If train travel is allowable for Angel he may join physically, but currently more likely by zoom. * We should count on the review lasting ca 6-7 hours including lunch. We proposed to Angel that we have the M18 review in conjunction with our next 6 monthly physical meeting: two days for our physical meeting to include a rehearsal (if time?); and the third and final day for the review which will likely need to be attended by WP leaders/OMT members. Based on current availability for Thea, Manolis and Marcelo we will suggest the following dates to Angel: * 25-27 March 2024 (27thApril being the date of the review) * 17-19 April 2024 (19th April being the date of the review) We will work on logistics - how much time we spend at Milton Keynes and in London, etc. - when we have confirmation of dates from the PO. Note he will have to find and check availability of reviewers etc. * Please block the above dates in your diary for now, and share with the rest of your team members * If anyone has strong preferences for any of the dates (i.e., the other timespan is not possible for you) please respond on this thread by Wednesday 12.00 CET. * Angel would also welcome any names of reviewers which would not put anyone in our consortium in a conflict of interest.
