TCD follow-up: Event to engage teacher participants in sharing their experiences

Hello Everyone, I hope you are keeping well. As discussed briefly in TCD meeting (also in the OU meeting), can we organise an event (either of one or two days) in which we will bring teacher participants participated in the Exten(DT)2 project up until now from all countries together to make them share their experiences? The purpose of this event will be to: * Create a multi-country platform for teachers to share their learnings from participating in the Exten(DT)2 project; * Record their experiences and suggestions that can be helpful resources to support Y3 implementation; and * Engage teachers in a post-implementation activity which can function as a stimulated recall to trigger them to further implement DT project in their classroom settings independently. And of course, this will help us in reporting around sustainability as we are not leaving teachers after they implement but we are following them up and helping them to build a wider teachers network. For this, I propose the dates as 28th and 29th November, Thursday, and Friday (maybe of a 4-hour session each day) We can ask each one to share their experiences in 15 minutes which will be followed by 10 minutes Q and A. WP7 School intervention evaluation documents and ethical approval.

Dear all Following on from the WP7 meeting last week, I have developed a series of data collection instruments and protocols for the school interventions, which are stored in a folder <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YzuyDATghL1RnkyQxPchAWeU6WTVu1QP?us…>in WP7. This includes all the information you should need to apply for ethical approval, such as sample informed consent/assent documents, overarching evaluation protocol (data preparation and analysis to come), surveys, interviews, teacher reflective diary and documents detailing the protocol for each form of data collection. All partners involved in interventions this year should review the documents, add comments and make suggested edits *by 6th March. *I am also happy to receive any direct email queries. Please ensure at least one member of your team, involved in the interventions, professional development or co-design workshops completes the Doodle. Unfortunately due to other responsibilities I am unable to arrange a meeting prior to the 7th March and the 10th is the OMT. Any partner waiting to apply for ethical review can use all of the documents in their current state as amendments will only be minor - aka no new data collection instruments and no new lines of questioning. Dear All Period 1: EC Experts Scientific & Technical comments * For the WP technical part of the reporting you should also read the EC Review comments from Period 1. * Most WPs at individual level received only positive individual feedback * We are going through the 5 main recommendations in our OMT meetings, and will report on them in a specific separate section in the final P2 report. * However, if you are responsible for leading on any of the 5 main comments and there is already progress, please also refer and report this within your WP. Period 1: EC Financial comments * The EC expert reviewers did not have comments. * EC’s own financial reviewers had comments for UGent, SIMPLE, NKUA, NTNU and TCD – which were mostly minor and/or resolved. * They are also attached for your information.
