WP7 School intervention evaluation documents and ethical approval.

Dear all Following on from the WP7 meeting last week, I have developed a series of data collection instruments and protocols for the school interventions, which are stored in a folder <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YzuyDATghL1RnkyQxPchAWeU6WTVu1QP?us…>in WP7. This includes all the information you should need to apply for ethical approval, such as sample informed consent/assent documents, overarching evaluation protocol (data preparation and analysis to come), surveys, interviews, teacher reflective diary and documents detailing the protocol for each form of data collection. All partners involved in interventions this year should review the documents, add comments and make suggested edits *by 6th March. *I am also happy to receive any direct email queries. Please complete this Doodle <https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/dLZkGMra>by *1st March *to arrange a review meeting to further discuss data collection. Please ensure at least one member of your team, involved in the interventions, professional development or co-design workshops completes the Doodle. Unfortunately due to other responsibilities I am unable to arrange a meeting prior to the 7th March and the 10th is the OMT. Any partner waiting to apply for ethical review can use all of the documents in their current state as amendments will only be minor - aka no new data collection instruments and no new lines of questioning. Answers to queries on deliverables from our PO

Dear All Marcelo and I had a meeting with Angel, our PO, this afternoon and checked with him your queries on deliverables: 1. It is OK to shift D1.2 Initial Data Management Plan from M6 to M8. 1. When does a deliverable become public?: * A deliverable will only become publicly available on EU websites when formally approved by the PO. * Some POs formally approve the deliverables themselves, others prefer to leave the formal approval until the reviewers at the periodic reporting stage have reviewed them too. * Any EU partner can log in and check on the portal to see the status of their deliverable, including whether it has been approved: <Log in>Click on <ExtenD.T.2 Project: Actions><Manage Projects><Continuous Reporting><Deliverables> * There are no fixed rules on when we ourselves can disseminate/publish our public deliverables e.g., on our extendt2 website after they have been submitted. * Angel does not see an issue if we decide ourselves whenever to do this. * However, Angel asked that we inform him, if we would like any deliverables to be formally approved by him on the portal, to alleviate any doubt. * He will usually, unless he is absent, review (and approve (or not)) our deliverables usually within a day or two of request. 1. What is the procedure if a deliverable is submitted/uploaded on time and then we wish to replace it in the next week or two with a higher quality version or a small adjustment to a table etc. * Angle was not sure. We MAY be able to resubmit IF he has not approved or rejected the deliverable. * However, he prefers that he be contacted, as he does see an issue of us replacing a deliverable in such circumstances. One-page leaflet with the 3 Technolgies

Dear all, As we discussed in previous meetings, we have created a one-page document that summarizes the functionalities and the added value of the 3 existing authoring tools (ChoiCo, MaLT2 and SorBET). It was designed to address mainly teachers and educators, but also other people who want to have a first idea of the project technologies. We tried to make it more attractive than a simple text document Feel free to distribute it to teachers that will design and implement interventions (WP3), teachers in professional development (WP6) or any other interested stakeholder. Sister Projects_Collaborative Platform (please reply asap)

Dear All We are working to set up a shared collaborative platform with our other sister projects. The intention is not to overload this, or create extra work for us - but to have somewhere accessible for those in our projects for whom this could be a useful collaborative tool (e.g. the main leads who work with Project Management, Dissemination and Exploitation, and Ethics). We have discovered that Google is not allowed for at least one of the Coordinating partner leads. Can one person from each partner reply to me asap and let me know if MS onedrive (and/or TEAMS) would work for you/your organisation as the shared platform. Best, Shamim
