Mer information finns i texten nedan. Projektet är tänkt att föra samman historiska holocaust-relaterade platser i Europa i ett nätverk, för att kunna stötta dem på det sätt de behöver och framhäva deras relevans. Det kan handla om platser som fått funktion av mer officiella besöksmål, men även platser som förblivit okända för allmänheten och kan riskera att glömmas bort eller förstöras av olika anledningar. Vi arbetar också på ett dokument som beskriver best practices för dessa platser. Tanken är att det dokumentet ska kunna användas i kommunikationen mellan myndigheter och mark-ägare och andra intressenter. Nu har det kommit ut en öppen inbjudan att som förvaltare av en sådan plats kunna anmäla sig till nätverket, så jag vore tacksam om ni kunde sprida nedanstående information i era nätverk. Daniel ESHEM is pleased to announce the open call for membership for the European Sites of Holocaust Memory (ESHEM), a network bringing together historical Holocaust sites and their custodians to strengthen their role in research, education, and commemoration. Beginning in February 2026, all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. The ESHEM Steering Committee will select at least 25 first members during 2026, with the network expected to expand further in the coming years. Applications are to be submitted by email no later than on March 31st, 2026. We warmly encourage all custodians of eligible Holocaust sites to apply.
