SDK Reminder: Minimum version SDK enforcement - quarterly update on November 4, 2023
Zoom enforces a minimum version for our Meeting and Video SDKs on a quarterly basis. Our next enforcement of the Software Lifecycle Policy will take place on November 4, 2023. If your apps are using a version that is below the minimum version, users will no longer be able to connect to a meeting. See the SDK minimum version policy developer documentation for details. Please refer to the Zoom Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy for updates on the enforcement dates and versions.
Action required: If you are running a version below the new minimum version, please upgrade your application to use the latest SDK and ensure that it is distributed to your users by November 4, 2023. It will no longer work after that date. If you have a development team, please ensure that they are aware of this policy and the approaching deadline.

Privacy update: Published OAuth apps only
As part of our continuous efforts to protect user privacy, Zoom is requiring all developers to attest to how user data is processed. Your app/integration's technical design document (TDD) must be updated to include this information. It is important that you submit an updated TDD with complete answers to the data privacy questions by November 5, 2023. Failure to update your TDD by this deadline will result in the suspension of your app/integration from the Zoom App Marketplace.
Action required: Answer/update all privacy questions in your OAuth App TDD by November 5, 2023.

Reminder: Updated webhook validation and verification processes
Webhook validation will be required for all new and existing webhooks on February 3, 2024. All webhooks created prior to this date will not require validation unless you make changes to them on or after that date. The previous validation process using the verification token (which was optional) will no longer be supported after February 3, 2024.
Action recommended:
- Use the new webhook validation logic to validate webhooks created after October 2022 and upgrade existing webhooks to use this process by February 3, 2024.
- Update your app's webhook verification logic to use the secret token to replace the verification token by February 3, 2024.

- PATCH /contact_center/tasks/{taskId}
The expected end-of-life for these endpoints is August 30, 2024. Applications consuming these endpoints should discontinue using them. To learn more about this change, please refer to the FAQ on the topic.
